BEST LIBRARY USER AWARD
To motivate the Students and Faculty Members to make the efficient use of the library and its services, the ‘Best Library User Award’ for student has been started from the academic year 2022-23 and Best Library User Award’ for Faculty Members has been started from the academic year 2023-24. Two students are selected one from the UG and One from the PG and one from faculty of Commerce & Management, on the basis of the statistical data, accession of books, reading aptitude of the student, utilization of library resources, discipline and the review of the Library Advisory committee. Every year this Award conferred on the occasion of Annual Recognition Day.

BEST LIBRARY USER AWARD SELECTION CRITERIA
Total 50 Points
We instituted the best library user award. The procedure for selecting the best library user is as follows.
1.Books Usage: (15 Points)
Number of books taken from the library (Textbooks along with the General Reading books will be taken into consideration)

2.Library Visiting: (15 Points)
Number of visits to the library. (Total hours spent in the library will be calculated)

3.Usage of Online Resources (N-LIST): (05 Points)
The selection of the awardees will be based on the number of e-journals downloaded/reviewed/referred in a semester from the library.

4.Journals Usage: (05 Points)
The selection of the awardees will be based on the number of print journals that are reviewed/referred in a semester from the library.
​
5.Timely return of books. (05 Points)
The selection of the awardees will be based on the return of books for specific period.
​
6.Code of conduct. (05 Points)
The selection of the awardees will be based on the follow the library code of conduct.
